The Crucible Act 1

Honestly, the Crucible's story isn't all that interesting. I'm much more interested in what Arthur Miller is trying to get across in this play. The whole backstory with the McCarthy hearings, and the comparisons of 1950s America to 1690s New England.

Act 1 has really just been setting up the story, as most plays do. It gives us the villain (Abigail), hero and supporting cast.

Sadly this was a short post. Hopefully i'll get points, if not whatever. Maybe next time i'll get to be a little more creative with what is posted, and no that's not a hint at all...
